Set sail on the Matanzas River for an exciting pirate adventure filled with sword fights, cannon fire, and family-friendly fun. Join the crew of the Black Raven and help defend the treasure from rival pirates while enjoying lively entertainment and interactive activities.
All passengers must check in at the Black Raven Ship Store before boarding. Boarding passes are required. Strollers are not allowed on the ship but may be left on the dock or in the store. A minimum of 20 passengers is needed for the trip to sail. Parking is limited; allow extra time to find parking. No refunds for parking issues, no-shows, or late arrivals.

A: The cruise lasts about 1.5 hours on the Matanzas River.
Q: Is parking available nearby?
A: There is no dedicated parking lot. Guests should allow 45–60 minutes to find parking in downtown St. Augustine.

A: Yes. The Black Raven has a small restroom available for passenger use during the cruise.

The adult-only Rum Runner cruise also gets strong praise for its comedy and entertainment value, with couples highlighting the affordable drinks and hilarious skits. Several reviewers mention the crew's friendliness and how they engage with passengers throughout the trip. The sunset cruises earn special mentions for their live music and overall atmosphere. The experience isn't without hiccups though. Audio can be problematic, with the boat noise making it hard to hear the pirates at times.
