Explore Tall Trees Grove on a guided hike in Redwood National and State Parks. Descend 800 feet to the Redwood Creek floodplain and walk among towering old-growth redwoods.
The hike covers about 3.9 miles with 800 feet of elevation change. Expect the climb on the return, as most elevation gain is at the end.
When to arrive?
Your guide will call you ahead of time to confirm your start time and coordinate your meeting spot. Plan on arriving at the trailhead at the time you’re scheduled.
Is gratuity included?
No. Gratuity is typically between 15–25%. Our guides work hard to create a memorable, educational, and fun experience for all guests, and gratuity is highly appreciated!
What to wear?
We recommend wearing comfortable hiking apparel with layers, which includes a light jacket or rain jacket depending on weather, and durable hiking shoes.
Programs may be rescheduled or canceled due to weather or minimum participant requirements. A full refund is provided if an activity is canceled or rescheduled (upon request for rescheduled events). Provide at least 48 hours’ notice for changes or cancellations. Cancellations within 48 hours are not refundable.
