Walk through Savannah's squares and green spaces as you learn to identify iconic plants and notice the ironwork that frames local gardens. You'll also hear about traditional uses of plant life and the imagery found in wrought and cast iron.
The tour lasts 2 hours and is completely outdoors. The first third is mostly walking and standing, with some opportunities to sit later. Public restrooms are only available near the end of the route.
Free cancellation with a full refund if you cancel more than 24 hours before the start time. Cancellations less than 24 hours before the tour and no-shows are not eligible for a refund. If the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before the start time. Guides will wait up to 5 minutes for missing guests before beginning.
Bring your ticket confirmation (digital is accepted), comfortable walking shoes, and weather-appropriate attire. Water is encouraged (especially in summer), and if rain is expected, bring an umbrella or raincoat.
There are parking garages and street parking near the starting location at Columbia Square. Street parking is also available near the ending location at Forsyth Park and between the start and end points—budget time to find a space and walk to the start.
