Experience astronomer-led stargazing on the slopes of Mauna Kea or Mauna Loa. Use a deep-space camera to see galaxies and take home complimentary night photos.
This 1.5–2 hour tour operates at approximately 7,000–9,000 feet and does not visit the summit. All ages are welcome, though under 5 is not typically recommended; guests under 17 must be with a parent or guardian. Dress warmly as temperatures can be 30–50°F; group size is limited to 12 per guide.
Full refund available up to 24 hours before start. If cloud conditions delay the tour by more than 90 minutes, a full refund can be issued.
