Around Portland Tours delivers consistently excellent waterfall experiences with guides who clearly love what they do. Angela, Carrie, and the rest of the team earn praise for being knowledgeable, energetic, and genuinely engaging throughout the tours. Visitors mention learning about local plants, Portland history, and getting solid restaurant recommendations on top of seeing stunning waterfalls. The half-day format hits the sweet spot, typically covering four to five waterfalls at a comfortable pace with plenty of photo opportunities. The tours come with thoughtful touches like complimentary water and snacks, comfortable vans, and bikes in great condition for those choosing the cycling option. Solo travelers specifically note feeling comfortable joining group tours. One guest mentioned wishing for slightly longer stops at each location, though the pacing seems to work well for most visitors. Multiple guides get individual shoutouts, suggesting the quality stays high regardless of who's leading your tour. <tool_call> {"name": "analyze_review_content", "arguments": {"summary": "Strong, consistent 5-star provider with knowledgeable guides (Angela, Carrie, Shannon, others) who make waterfall tours educational and fun. Half-day format covers 4-5 waterfalls with good pacing, comfortable transport, complimentary snacks/water. Great for solo travelers and first-time Portland visitors. Cycling option available and highly rated."}} </tool_call>

Spent a wonderful afternoon, 2pm tour, exploring the waterfalls in the Columbia Gorge. The Mercedes Sprinter tour van was comfortable with super cold air conditioning during this hot summer! Our guide Anna was informative, friendly, and helpful. Location was easy to find with the directions provided. Street parking and lot parking available near the meet up location. Bottled water and trail mix snacks were an unexpected surprise. Great experience.
