This watersports operation at Casa Marina has clearly mastered the art of making jet ski adventures memorable, and much of that comes down to their standout guides. Names like Nacho, Juan, Tyler, Chase, and Ignacio pop up repeatedly in glowing reviews, with guests praising their professionalism, safety consciousness, and ability to balance thrilling speed with educational commentary about Key West's marine life and landmarks. The 90-minute island tours seem particularly popular, taking riders past millionaire mansions, through mangroves, and into open areas where you can really open up the throttle. Several families mention this is one of the few places welcoming toddlers on jet skis, which is a rare find. They also offer dolphin watching and snorkeling excursions, complete with complimentary refreshments and beer, though one guest felt the snorkeling site itself lacked impressive coral or marine life. The biggest red flag centers on reliability. A few customers had their prepaid reservations canceled last minute, citing mechanical issues, which created serious vacation disruptions. There's also an uncomfortable mention of a guide aggressively soliciting tips before guests even finished their experience, which left a sour taste despite an otherwise enjoyable ride. These incidents are outliers in an otherwise positive collection of feedback, but they're worth noting if you're building your itinerary around a confirmed booking. The shuttle service from hotels and the convenient Casa Marina location get thumbs up from multiple visitors. If you do book, asking for one of the frequently praised guides might help ensure you get that combination of safety, fun, and local knowledge that makes this more than just a generic water activity.
The whole experience was wonderful right from the beginning when checking in with Mike at the front desk, who was super helpful and friendly, to getting on the ocean with Nacho. I highly recommend if visiting in Kew West 👍
