This tour consistently delivers an outstanding Savannah experience, with guides who clearly make or break the evening. The standout names that keep popping up are Dee, Rocky, Barry D'Alive (yes, that's his stage name), Preacher, Robin, and Cass. These guides blend Savannah's haunted history with genuine personality and humor. Several reviewers specifically mention the perfect balance of historical facts, ghost stories, and lighthearted jokes that keep things entertaining without feeling cheesy. The actual hearse adds a memorable touch that guests seem to love. What really shines through is how much ground you'll cover during the tour. Unlike walking tours, you get to see significant portions of the city while learning about its spookier side. Guides are consistently described as interactive, informative, and genuinely funny. Families and couples both rave about their experiences. Multiple people say they'd book again and specifically request the same guide, which speaks volumes. If you're trying to get a feel for Savannah's history and haunted reputation in an entertaining way, this seems like a winner.
Really enjoyed our tour with Dee-Composing. She was great with our kids — our youngest still tells people that she saw a ghost. We heard lots of entertaining jokes and Drew’s a great sport with our kids who never “get” dad jokes. Being in a hearse was pretty cool, and we definitely enjoyed being driven around town. Would recommend!!
