Kayak and snorkel tours here consistently deliver memorable ocean encounters, with Willie and Malcolm earning particular praise as guides who go above and beyond. Multiple visitors rave about close encounters with sea turtles, reef sharks, and whales during their outings. The guides don't just point you in a direction—they actually get in the water with groups, actively showing snorkelers where to find marine life and making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe. Several families mention how patient and knowledgeable the guides were, even helping nervous first-timers overcome their jitters. The location at Camp Olowalu can be a bit tricky to navigate on arrival, so plan to show up early and follow directions carefully. One significant issue to note: their pregnancy restriction policy isn't clearly communicated during booking, which caused frustration for at least one visitor who only learned about it in their 24-hour confirmation email. Overall though, this operation earns its strong reputation through personalized attention (tours are often small or even private), healthy reef exploration, and guides who genuinely care about creating a great experience on the water.
This is a great place to rent kayaks / snorkel with a guide. It's an old plantation, now working to preserve the reef. We saw hump back whales in the distance, sea turtles, sharks, and lots of fish!
