Ride flowy downhills, grinding climbs, and historic mining roads on a half-day guided mountain bike adventure tailored to your ability and goals. Guides match terrain to your fitness and skills. Half-day rides depart at 9am and 2pm.
This can be physically demanding; good fitness is recommended. Full suspension or hard-tail mountain bikes with disc brakes and flat pedals are encouraged. In Summit County, biking season typically runs from mid to late May through September, sometimes into October.

This can be a demanding activity, so being in good physical condition is recommended.
What kind of bike do I need?
Rides are on dirt trails. Full suspension or hard-tail mountain bikes with disc brakes and flat pedals are strongly encouraged.
Are rentals available?
Yes. We partner with local mountain bike rental shops and can help set up your reservation.
When is the best time of year to go?
In high-elevation areas like Summit County, the season typically runs mid to late May through September and sometimes into October.
When do half-day tours depart?
Daily at 9am and 2pm.
Should we tip our guide?
Gratuities are not expected but appreciated; a typical range is 15–20%.
For guided trips, cancel more than 48 hours before the start for a refund minus a 10% fee. For courses, cancel more than 14 days before for a refund minus a 10% fee; within 14 days a refund is only issued if your spot is filled (minus 10%), otherwise you are charged in full. Rescheduling follows the same windows with a 10% fee. No-shows are charged in full. Activities run rain or shine; operator may reschedule or refund.

We had a perfect rafting experience. The whole trip was so organized and our hosts gave me great ease as they were all very knowledgeable and pleasant. Jake was our guide. He was full of info about the history and ecosystem of the area. Boyd and Jason, the other guided were super helpful and kind, especially to out kids on their first rafting experience. Weather & conditions were perfect! Loved the view of the canyons and railroad from the river. Saw beavers and bald eagles. Thanks for the great pics, Jake!
