The guides here consistently shine as the main attraction. Prince and Ian get enthusiastic shoutouts for being knowledgeable, entertaining, and genuinely engaged with their guests. Reviewers love how they blend local history with humor and share insider tips about dining spots and free attractions around town. The tours typically run 1.5 to 2 hours, hitting spots like Earthquake Park and various city landmarks, with several stops where you can get out and explore. Most visitors find it an excellent orientation to Anchorage, especially at the start of their trip when they're looking for ideas. The trolleys feel comfortable and safe, and the pacing works well for getting a solid overview without dragging on. A couple of travelers felt the stops weren't exciting enough for the price and suggested renting a car instead for more flexibility, but these opinions are outliers. The overwhelming majority found the experience worthwhile, with many learning something new about the city even on repeat visits. It's particularly handy if you're between activities or waiting for an evening flight.
Ean was great. He told us alot of about Anchorage and where to eat. The tour covered enough that you were interested the whole time. And he warned me he would photo bomb me but I didn't believe him.. He did it. The best part was seeing a city moose twice.
