3 hours
Boat trip, Bait, Crew support
Head out on a spacious, Coast Guard inspected bay fishing boat for a three-hour trip designed for both first-timers and experienced anglers. You will spend most of the outing fishing in calm, sheltered waters with help from the crew as needed.
At least 7 adult tickets must be sold for the trip to run. Light alcohol is permitted, and snacks and bottled water are available on board for cash only.
Cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled trip for a full refund. If the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, you will receive a full refund. No-shows will be charged the full price.
Free parking is available on the grass on the left when you turn onto Sunset Avenue from Golf Course Road (outside the hedges from Sunset Marina). There is also a large free municipal lot on the right about 150 ft from the dock behind the Shark Restaurant. At the dock, it is loading and unloading only.
Dress for the day’s weather and consider bringing a jacket or sweatshirt, as it’s often cooler on the water. If rain is possible, bring a rain jacket or foul weather gear.
You may bring food and beverages (light alcohol is permitted). Bring sunblock and a hat, and consider a small cooler for food/drinks and taking fish fillets home. Snacks and bottled water are available on board for cash only.
12924 Sunset Avenue, West Ocean City, MD (21842). You will check in directly at the boat, which should be visible from the parking lot.
Captain Anton and his crew consistently earn praise for creating a relaxed, family-friendly fishing atmosphere that keeps visitors coming back year after year. The mates, particularly Joel, Beau, and Damian, get standout mentions for being attentive and hardworking throughout trips, constantly helping with bait, untangling lines, and making sure everyone feels taken care of. Beyond the fishing itself, guests appreciate the bonus sightseeing around West Ocean City, including glimpses of Assateague's wild horses and occasional dolphin sightings. The three-hour trips hit a sweet spot for families with young children who want an introduction to fishing without the marathon commitment of longer charters. While catch success varies from trip to trip (as is typical with any fishing excursion), most visitors feel the reasonable pricing and friendly service make it worthwhile regardless. Lines can get tangled when the boat is particularly full, and one guest felt the captain moved between spots too frequently, but these seem like isolated concerns rather than recurring issues. The laid-back vibe and responsive crew make this a reliable choice for annual vacation traditions.
I went on a fishing tour with this company a couple years ago at this point but just found the pictures from it. It was such a good time that I wanted to make sure I looped back around to provide them!! My stepdad and I had a blast fishing with this charter, and I had a great time hanging out with the captain and deckhand who were very kind to me and allowed me to shelter with them from a storm that came over the water at the end of the scheduled tour. Thanks so much, and sorry for the delay! Super enjoyable experience.
